Highlights from the Q4 2024 Report
Q4 was another productive quarter for the Research Team at IMMERSE. Highlights include:
● We welcomed a new partnership with Southern Connecticut State University, who will conduct a research study with Spanish and French learners during the Spring 2025 semester.
● University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign found that students using IMMERSE were 16.1% more motivated to learn Spanish and outperformed their peers by 7.5% on final oral exams.
● Purdue University discovered that IMMERSE improved English learners' speaking skills by 24%, including a 25% increase in fluency, a 38% boost in vocabulary, and improvements in pronunciation (11%) and grammar (26%).
● Seven of our research partners presented their work at Meta's inaugural Meta for Education Summit in Menlo Park, CA.
● Our partners published seven new research articles. We now have 48 third-party completed research studies! You can find them all on our Research page at: immerse.com/research.
● We announced our annual conference, IMMERSEcon2025, which will feature a keynote by Monica Arés, a fireside chat with Matthew Sanders -- Meta's Education and VR Director -- and talks from other industry leaders.
